This was another piece finished in Publication Design. It was supposed
to be a classic magazine
design. I came up with Lucid, a magazine facing mental issues. Above
is the opening spread of the article I designed. Treating the type
was an aspect of the layout that I really enjoyed, because most work
that a student does in school does not pertain to page layout in a
traditional sense, but I feel it is a great skill to have and practice. This
magazine design was another one of my most rewarding pieces. I was
pleased with the simplistic beauty that it contained, as well as the feeling
it gave to the subject of the magazine itself.
